The Lima Regional Information Technology Alliance (LRITA) is a nonprofit professional organization comprised of IT Professionals and those who know the technology that drives businesses. Our membership is diverse, spanning small to large organizations, for-profit and non-profit corporations, and enterprises that are local, regional, and international. Our mission is to provide services that include professional networking, member driven training and educational opportunities, and vendor sponsored technology sessions. Together, we look to share and leverage the expertise and knowledge that supports and strengthens our region’s thriving economy.

- September 9, 2010 At LRITA BIT Talk we will discuss Virtualization / SAN Solutions, with a presentation by Justin Paul, Systems Engineer Virtualization Specialist for SMS ProTECH.

- May 11, 2010 At LRITA BIT Talk we will discuss Ethical Hacking, with a presentation by George Pauwels of New Horizons Computer Learning Centers.
- April 22, 2010 LRITA announces the LRITA.org 2010 Technology Conference at the Lima Veterans' Memorial Civic and Convention Center. This day long event includes vendor booths and an agenda with 20 opportunities to Share the Knowldege from quality presentations.
- March 11, 2010 LRITA BIT Talk will compare Windows Server 2008 v. Server 2003 v. Citrix and other such terminal services tools.
- March 2, 2010 LRITA is now able to accept secure credit card payments through Google Checkout!
- February 10, 2010 LRITA BIT Talk will look at Windows 7 and benefits or problems with adopting it as a standard for the workplace.
- January 14, 2010 LRITA BIT Talk will look at IT Policies and the challenges of developing and enforcing policies.
- November 18, 2009 LRITA names two new members to the Board of Directors.
- November 11, 2009 LRITA BIT Talk will hosted by Tuttle Construction, Inc with the Technology Spotlight on Disaster Recovery Planning.
- October 13, 2009 LRITA BIT Talk will be hosted by Range Kleen Mfg with the Technology Spotlight presented by The Union Bank Company.
- September 8, 2009 LRITA will hold its next BIT Talk session at 6PM at American Trim, 1005 W Grand Ave, Lima, Ohio, 45801 with a Technology Spotlight presented by Fort Amanda Specialties.
- August 20, 2009 LRITA published multiple updates to its members list, BIT Talk schedule, annual event page, sponsorship, important dates, and more.
- August 14, 2009 LRITA published another represented company's full time IT job opening.
- August 11, 2009 LRITA published a represented company's full time IT job opening.
- Effective July 22, 2009, we have an open "Call for Speakers" and are seeking:
- people that are able and willing to provide 15 minute "technology spotlight" talks regarding new technologies that would be of interest.
- people that are able and willing to provide 45 minute in-dept discussion on technology that they have implemented. Vendors can provide these discussions, however we would require that they bring a customer who has implemented the techonology to contribute to their talk.

- May 7, 2009 LRITA announces the premeire of their new series called BIT Talk slated for June 11, 2009. This will be a recurring dinner opportunity for IT professionals to network and discuss what projects are exciting and important to their careers. This is a great opportunity for sharing and learning what is available.
- April 28, 2009 LRITA announces Membership Applications are now being accepted. The focus is toward IT professionals and students attending an IT field of study.
